Who is this suitable for?

This qualification is suitable for anyone interested in developing an awareness of mental health. It is designed to support individuals in understanding their mental health and recognising common mental health concerns.

Which candidates can attend?

Candidates should be over 16 years of age and possess at least Level 1 Numeracy and Literacy or the equivalent. This course is open to anyone interested in mental health awareness, with no prior experience required.

When and where does the course take place?

This 4-hour course is delivered over a half-day session, including breaks. Training can be arranged at your preferred location on a date and time that suits you.

Course syllabus

Be aware of common mental health disorders
Learn how to recognise the causes and impact of stress
Learn how to recognise the causes and impact of common mental health conditions
Learn different ways to manage your own mental wellbeing

How much does this first aid course at work cost?

Group bookings (up to 12 learners) £450
(discounted to £375 for 6 or fewer)*

*plus venue hire if not at your own premises

Individuals (open courses) £105 per person

How long is the course?

4 hours of guided learning – over a half-day session,
(including breaks.)

Is this course accredited?

Yes, it is accredited by QNUK, with no expiry, but it is recommended for renewal every three years to stay updated with best practices.
